Lilou Dekker 

For Lilou, acting is the most beautiful thing there is. Both in the theatre and on the big screen. She’s fond of films and theatre plays that dare to transcend reality, in which alienation is sought out.

She admires the work of Phoebe Waller Bridge (Fleaback), director Alex van Warmerdam (Borgman), Josh Thomas, Lena Dunham and Yorgos Lanthimos, whose film The Lobster is her favourite. All of the above are filmmakers who also write. The same goes for Lilou: she’s not only an actress but also a language lover - in the recent years she has written many theatre plays.

Lilou has also starred in the series Dirty Lines (Netflix), Dit zijn wij and Kramp (VPRO) and in Dutch films such as De veroordeling and Bladgoud.
