Soufiane Moussouli
While pursuing his degree in Social Work at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Soufiane stumbled upon a passion that would redefine his career path: the magnetic world of theatre and acting. This inspiration led to the creation of his first solo performance, 'Moroccans Don't Cry'. Far from being a one-hit-wonder, this success led to the productions of 'Gelukszoeker (Fortune Seeker) and the highly acclaimed show 'Volgens mij ben ik een Jood' (Think I'm a Jew). His unique vision caught the attention of Theater De Gasten (Theatre group De Gasten), paving the way to Het Zuidelijk Toneel, where he shone in the performance 'ACHTTIEN' (EIGHTEEN).
Soufiane played the role of Habib in the Gouden Kalf Award-winning drama series 'Mocro Maffia'. He also appeared in the movie 'Gods Lam' (God's Lam) and the series 'A'dam en E.V.A.'..
Currently, Soufiane is involved in a new Netflix film set to premiere next year. This gripping thriller, centered around a hostage situation in the heart of Amsterdam's Apple Store (known as the Apple Store gijzeling), features him in the lead role alongside Emmanuel Ohene Boafo, Marcel Hensema, Loes Haverkort, Louis Talpe and others.
